Street routes

Street mode looks for connected walking networks and genuinely different loop shapes. It does not assume that neighboring provider responses are distinct routes.

Scenic routes

Scenic mode uses available mapped context such as waterfront, foreshore and named scenic corridors. Coverage depends on the completeness of local map data.

Major parks and green spaces

Park mode discovers relevant green areas, then constructs route candidates from mapped public path nodes and adjoining public streets. Green boundaries are never treated as proof of a walkable path.

• Mapped-path adherence and measured green-space exposure are validated.
• Restricted playing areas and golf fairways are avoided.
• If verified park topology is unavailable, RouteFit asks the user to retry instead of quietly returning street-only results.

Low and High effort

Effort considers climbing, sustained gradient and surface challenge after target and route-feature fit. A High effort choice does not authorize a longer route or a different environment.
